Who are we?

Founded by Diouldé Chartier-Beffa at the end of 2008, DCAP Research conducts qualitative studies, social perspective research and consulting missions covering product and service innovations, communication and brand strategy. Our vocation is to uncover latent needs and expectations that are difficult to express and render them understandable and relevant for our clients in such a way that they inspire original solutions. Our work is based on detailed observation and analysis of express commentary and makes use of innovative methodologies. We propose customized approaches in France and internationally covering consumers, employees and service users as well as other general public populations and B2B targets.

DCAP emerged from a desire to renew research practices and reinforce the relationship between the institute and its clients and the populations being studied (consumers, citizens, employees…). As such, we have always been committed to developing participative approaches: piloting creative groups, ethnography, immersion of client teams in consumer contexts, studies drawing on social network content, all applied to a variety of sectors.

20 years of experience in quantitative, qualitative and creative research with Bossard Consultants, Ifop (creation of the strategic qualitative studies department) and Coca-Cola France, where she directed strategic studies. Methodology innovation, creativity and participative approaches were the cornerstones of her desire to create DCAP. As a member of Créa-France, she participates in a multidisciplinary work group that explores the issues of “working collaboratively” from a prospective point of view.

Masters 2 in the sociology of research surveys from Paris Descartes. A tireless seeker of insights, she was interested during her Masters work in black women’s portrayals  of beauty. After having worked on the concept of skin lightening, Siga analyzed the “return to natural beauty” in hair styling typified by the return of the afro.

Following her studies in literature, which led her to stays in Germany and the United States, Perrine completed her university studies with a Masters in Management from Paris Dauphine. Her work in qualitative research has enabled her to satisfy her wide-ranging curiosity about the world in a variety of sectors. Multilingual, and a word lover, Perrine is unequaled in explaining what words mean and uncovering what they hide.
